Competition

Many thanks to everyone who entered our competition! The challenge was to get thinking creatively – or make the judges laugh out loud – and tell us which day of Christmas you would liken Accompli to and why.

Bottles of port have been dispatched to the entrants of the following (slightly edited!) responses:

The fifth day of Christmas

…5 gold rings: because, unlike the Olympics, you’ll deliver on time and under budget!

The seventh day of Christmas

…seven swans-a-swimming: because when the tide is rushing by incredibly fast, you hold your place against the current, are at peace amidst the rumpus and make it all look so easy and graceful!

…seven swans-a-swimming: because like all good swans, you are serene on top but paddling hard below!

The twelfth day of Christmas

…twelve drummers drumming: because though Accompli may be few in number their impact is disproportionately great. When the Accompli drumbeat rises, the pace quickens, output increases and great battles are won!

And bottles of port are also on their way to two other entrants who met that second criteria of simply making the judges laugh out loud!

…I need the bottle of port first, in order to get creative!

…I couldn't get the link to work so I shall have to away to the Croft and Taylor my own solution, which would Weare anyone down. In all probability I will make a complete Cockburns of it and will just have to wait for the Sandeman to arrive.
